Ce Mâcon-Péronne est issu de vignes quasi centenaires plantées sur des sols argilo-calcaire contenant du silex. La vendange est manuelle et le vin est élevé 12 mois en foudre de chêne. C'est un grand vin du Mâconnais, qui possède une belle complexité, du gras et une surprenante minéralité.
